Review by hotel critic
Set in a stunning location with a beautiful view of the volcano from the bungalow, it offers a serene retreat. The hot springs are undeniably a highlight, and the included 30-minute spa treatment per guest adds a nice touch. Breakfast was decent, and the restaurant's lunch options proved satisfactory for vegetarians, plus the view is certainly a plus. I found the activity included per stay to be engaging. There's a poolside snack bar that can tend to your whims, and the staff were generally courteous-though I did encounter a few hiccups. The absence of a pool was disappointing for a hotel in this category. Ultimately, while the Montana delivers on many fronts, I recommend weighing its offerings against the rates, ensuring you're getting value for what you pay. The experience is enjoyable, but perhaps consider your options based on preferences and budget.
